  1. This is my explanation. I think, of course, we are 
  2. ripe for a return. We are in the moment now in the 
  3. ‚Äò90s when French theory is on the way down. 
  4. Everyone knows this. Even the Chronicle of Higher  
  5. Education  has recently written an article ‚ÄúWhat 
  6. now, what next after theory?" We are in the post-
  7. theory age. We are ready for the return of 
  8. McLuhan. I consider myself directly in his line. 
  9. Many, many similarities between us‚Äîwe were 
  10. raised as Catholics, we are highly scholarly in our 
  11. vocations. We have this kind of interdisciplinary 
  12. mind that did not fit in at all with what was 
  13. demanded of a kind of overspecialized and
